Marina International School

High School Student of the Week

Joshua B.N Ceesay FORM 1s

My name is Joshua Ceesay, a twelve-year-old student attending Marina International Secondary School in the form 1 group, I was born on the 18th of July 2010 in the Gambia. I started school at S.E.B.E.C International School and left in the second grade to continue my education at Marina International School.

The things I like to do in my spare time are exercise, jog or play football with friends. Most times I love to prepare for examinations and ABT tests. My normal study time is in the evenings, making sure that all my assignments are done, packing my bag according to my timetable, and reading my notes given for the day; most of it is from my Google Classroom.

The things I like about Marina International School are that the school is conducive to learning and with the right atmosphere. The school has good-quality teachers, and I understand what is being thought to the best of my ability. The students in my class and in other classes are friendly, caring, and supportive. They always help me when I need help and we play together. I admire all the computers in the classrooms and enjoy a good internet that is easy to use and quick for teachers to work on to deliver lessons. The school has a big sports area with a football field, basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court and a table tennis area, where we normally play. The school has a good library which is spacious and it has a lot of books to read. If you’re sick, the school has a sick bay where you go for treatment. I really appreciate and love Marina International School for being a school students can depend on. (High School)
